Harmony and peace are two things that are highly sought after in this world. We seek to see them in our families, we seek to see them in our social lives and in our work lives. But one place that is often devoid of such things is in our cats and dogs. Whether we are pawrents to just one or both of these cute critters, the chances that we have a wholly harmonious relationship with our pawdorable pets is rather unlikely.

And those chances dip even lower if we are talking about cats and dogs who cohabitate. In those situations the best you can usually hope for is casual indifference. Just look at these two cuties. They look like they are such good friends that they spend time scrolling through each other’s social media feeds. You can so easily imagine them being all catty about all the posers and people on there, laughing to each other about how much cooler they are than the idiots they see online. Who would have ever imagined that this could happen in a world where it is still so common for cats and dogs to be mortal enemies. But that is exactly the kind of hope we need in our hearts to keep on going.

Wow, this is just too cute to be true. For either of these sweeties to be captured sleeping like this, they would have to feel totally comfortable in their home, to love their pawrents an incredible amount and generally feel super safe. But for them to feel that way around each other, well that is a whole other level of sweetness that we can barely comprehend.
